Clumping Test Report
Our Cat Litter Clumping Test: PurrinLitter vs Other Leading Cat Litter Brands
To offer a clear and objective comparison of clumping performance, we conducted a lab-based clumping test featuring four popular cat litter brands—including two leading imported bentonite cat litter products (Sta** and Trap**) and one local best-selling litter (Local**).
Our goal: to showcase how PurrinLitter’s premium clumping bentonite cat litter performs under real-world usage conditions.
Test Procedure:
- Sample Size: 500g of cat litter per brand.
- Liquid Application: Dripped 50ml of water to simulate urine absorption.
- Time Control: Waited exactly 3 minutes to allow for full clumping.
- Drop Test: The clump was lifted and dropped from 50cm height to simulate handling.
- Measurements Taken:
- Post-absorption weight (R1-1)
- Post-drop weight (R1-2)
- Clumping rate (R1-3), calculated by the retained mass after drop
